Happy #YorkshireDay – and how we’re doing our bit

We thought we’d extend our celebrations of #YorkshireDay for a few days this year by seeing how we can help the local community even more.

From speaking to people locally and from the local Chamber of Commerce, it’s clear that local businesses are facing challenges with digital and data skills, and being a bit daunted by “the future of work already being here”, and that all companies are “turning into tech companies at a pace”. We’re always there for local businesses looking for any tech help – however small. From laptop peripherals to Microsoft 365 rollouts, we can help “turn you tech” at an even greater pace!

The Chamber also highlights a “lack of work-readiness of some younger workers who had missed out on face-to-face employment and education due to the pandemic”, and that there is a need for a better understanding of apprentices. To this end, we’re very proud to announce that we’re currently hiring 5 further apprentices in our Bradford office, and our existing team continue to grow in strength and experience every day!

So here’s a little bit about who we are, what we do and how we’re proud champions of Yorkshire business.

Founded in 2007 by Paul Spence and Ben Gregg, Bradford-based Complete IT Systems has grown to a £16 million turnover and currently employs 54 staff. Our people continue to be the engine of our growth, and in recognition of this our profit share scheme has returned 10% of all net profits to our staff.

Community leadership

We’re also a big part of Bradford’s business scene, having sponsored Bradford City FC, been crowned the Fastest growing Midsize Business in Yorkshire and playing a local role in Chamber of Commerce activities. We also love to support school initiatives and the ‘One in a Million’ childrens’ charity.

Recognition

On a national level we are also proud to have been recognised by the London Stock Exchange Group as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. This recognised Complete IT Systems’ role in generating net new employment and in making a dynamic contribution to the overall positive influence of SMEs on the country’s economy.

Our skills

Our vendor relationships and technical skills have also developed over the past 10 years, with over 20 strategic partnerships and numerous other alliances being skilfully supported by our professional services and technical teams. Our commitment to achieving the likes of Microsoft Gold Partner status, Veeam Gold ProPartner Kaspersky Platinum and many others underline our commitment to obtaining the very best expertise for our customers.

Expansion

2013 saw the business expand further, with a new Glasgow office opening its doors to focus on the vibrant Scottish market, and to replicate what the company has achieved in Bradford. Four years on from its opening the office continues to go from strength to strength.

In recent years we’ve also opened new Leicester and Swansea offices, and we’re also planning further expansions off the back of this.

Thank you and here’s to the future!

We’d like to thank our customers, staff and vendors for making our first decade in business what it has been, and we’re very much looking forward to enjoying the next years together as well.
